I recently read that &#8220;fortune favors the brave&#8221;, a statement by which I strive to live. The amount of love and support that surrounds me is truly immeasurable. I have had the good fortune to have met wonderful people whom I am pleased to call my friends. I have a boyfriend who loves and cares for me admirably, who makes me laugh and inspires me each day, who has become nothing short of a member of my own immediate family. I have the most loving and supportive family that one could ever dream of having, and last but certainly not of least importance, I have a healthy body and the knowledge to maintain such that allows me to experience all of these beautiful things. I am currently training for my first half marathon which will take place in October 2012, and have just (thanks to my uncle) snagged an amazing paid internship opportunity over the summer! At the close of this school year, I will travel to Maine, one of my favorite places in the world, to hang out with a friend of my Mother&#8217;s and to meet her nephew, who is a working artist there. Additionally, Mom and I are planning a wellness trip upstate for mid summer, where we can hike and bike and all that jazz. I am finding myself as an artist, as an athlete, and as a woman. I look forward to the commencement of college in the fall. I can&#8217;t wait to expand artistically, and to be exposed to so many new things.
